English Heritage Images offers a wide range of photography from the 1850s to the present reflecting the rich and varied heritage of England. We represent selections from the National Monuments Record, the national archive of images of England’s historic architecture, archaeology and social history, which now features the Aerofilms collection as part of the National Library of Aerial Photography. The archive contains over 10 million images, and we are constantly searching out the best pictures to present to you. Our own properties range from ancient stone circles and legendary castles to sumptuous interiors, the industrial revolution and the Cold War. English Heritage Photo Library is the specialist picture library of English Heritage.
We offer commercial services to the image sector, specialising in the properties and collections of English Heritage, and with a special interest in heritage conservation campaigns run by our parent body.
English Heritage Photo Library is a department of the National Munuments Record for England, the national heritage archive for England, which houses more than 10 million images dating back to the 1850s, including the National Library of Aerial Photographs, which now features the Aerofilms collection (recently acquired for the nation).
